This beach is located behind the hills and is often referred to as the Secret Beach (Secret Beach) and on this beach there are very large cliffs which on one side are carved five statues of Pandavas and Dewi Kunti. The six statues were sequentially (from the highest position) named Dewi Kunti, Dharma Wangsa, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sadewa. In addition to tourism and water sports purposes, this beach is also used by local residents for seaweed cultivation because of the sloping beach contours and waves that do not reach the coastline. Uluwatu Temple is one of Sad Kahyangan Temple in Bali, located in Pecatu Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. The temple is located on a rock jutting into the sea with a height of about 80 meters above sea level. To the east of this temple area there is a forest which is the place of life of thousands of monkeys. The name Uluwatu comes from the word Ulu meaning head or edge and Watu means stone which means the temple i which is at the end of the rock. The Kecak dance is performed in the area of Uluwatu Temple every day and it will be amazing if you can watch the sunset during the performance. It is one of the Balinese art dance performances taken from the Ramayana story. This dance was performed by dozens or more male dancers who sat in a circle and in a certain rhythm called "cak-cak-cak" and raised both arms which depicted the Ramayana story when the ape line helped Rama against Rahwana. Besides male dancers, there are also other dancers who play Ramayana figures such as Rama, Shinta, Rahwana, Hanoman, and Sugriwa. The Kecak dance song is taken from the Sanghyang dance ritual and is not used by musical instruments by only using rattles worn on the feet of dancers who portray the Ramayana characters.
